The positive aspects of global warming?
There is a perception that global warming has many advantages. This statement became the main topic of discussion in a live radio station "Voice of Russia". The discussion was attended by the representative of the International Sustainable Energy Development Centre under the auspices of UNESCO (ISEDC) Vladimir Berdine.
Scientists of the Carnegie Institution and Stanford University, argued that statements about the dangers of global warming are wrong and are without any foundation.
The prospects of the Russian economy after Durban
The 26 January of 2012 in Moscow Center of the Carnegie in the building of the Business center "Gallery Actor" took place the session of the round table on the theme of "Climate policy after Durban: prospects for the Russian economy".
The event was organized by Carnegie Moscow center together with the Institute of Fritjof Nansen.
ISEDC will join the Working group on improving the Federal law №261
The State Duma Committee of energy, held a Round table on a theme "About normative ensuring the implementation of the provisions of 261-FL "About energy saving and improving energy efficiency and about introduction of amendments to certain legislative acts of the Russian Federation".
Significant theme for the first wide-ranging discussion in the Duma VI convocation to the Committee on energy was the theme "Of normative acts ensuring the implementation of the provisions of the federal law №261 "About energy saving and energy efficiency and introduction of amendments to certain legislative acts of the Russian Federation".
ISEDC at the World Economic Forum
At the Davos World Economic Forum, International Sustainable Energy Development Centre under the auspices of UNESCO (ISEDC) gives a presentation its energy activities within the framework of the Russian pavilion «Expo-2020» Yekaterinburg.
On January 25 in Davos during the World Economic Forum opened the pavilion "Expo-2020 Yekaterinburg", where publicly will be submitted a project of a Universal Exhibition, for conduction of which intends to fight the capital of the Ural federal district.
Sustainable energy development for all and for each one
In recognition of the importance of energy for sustainable development, the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) decided to proclaim the 2012 as the International Year of sustainable energy for all. Director of Strategic Planning and Partnership ISEDC Vladimir Berdine in his detailed interview on the radio station "The Voice of Russia" have told the audience about the importance of achieving these goals.
